I have many years of experience in guest conducting bands, orchestras and vocal ensembles throughout the U.S., Canada and
Australia. Since retiring, I have more time to guest conduct and I enjoy working with all level ensembles with the exception of
beginner groups.
I bring to my guest conducting the varied life experiences of a teacher, composer, arranger, artist level performer, and author of
unique books on phrasing and conducting. I am experienced in all disciplines both professionally and with student groups including:
Band, Orchestra, Choir, Jazz Choir, and Jazz Ensemble.
My guest conducting focuses on teaching expressive playing and singing and developing the necessary musical imagery to
accomplish these expressive performance goals.
My fee for guest conducting is negotiable and travel expenses will be added to the fee if applicable. I live in central New Jersey,
within commuting distance to both the greater New York City and Philadelphia areas.
